KeConnect Acquire the Internet Business of Lavron Technologies

1st December 2003: KeConnect Internet announced today the acquisition of the business customers of Lavron Internet, a regional Internet service provider based in Southend-on-Sea in Essex.

The deal worth around £1M over the next five years is part of KeConnect’s strategy to expand its customer base throughout the UK.

Lee Norvall Managing Director For Lavron explained the reasons for his decision to sell the business. He said “Lavron Internet has had an excellent business reputation and we were keen to ensure that our customers continued to experience the very best levels of customer support. We were delighted to merge our Internet Service with a like minded company that we have got to know well over the past few months.

I am confident that KeConnect will continue to build on our success, by offering our customers additional services which will be announced in the near future”

Robert Kemp Managing Director of KeConnect Group agreed, commenting; “Lavron Internet makes perfect sense for us. The company is similar in size and expertise, enabling us to step up the range of services to KeConnect and Lavron Customers alike.

For example Lavron Internet also incorporates the Velocity Games Network. It means KeConnect users will be able to take advantage of blisteringly fast on line games during their leisure periods, while Lavron Customer can now take advantage of our excellent content managed web design applications, and e-commerce software. We are very excited about the future.”

Lavron Technologies (UK) Limited will continue to sell both KeConnect’s Internet Services, while expanding into Network consultancy, and related services.
