Problems sending to (Windows Live) Hotmail address (CLOSED)

We are currently experiencing problems sending emails to Hotmail, whereby their mail servers have not been accepting connections from our mail servers.
Customers will see a reply similair to the below:
host mx2.hotmail.com [65.54.245.40]: 550 SC-001 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation problem
This is an ongoing issue that we are working towards resolving as soon as possible with minimal disruption.
